Icebraker Party (Monday afternoon at Hotel Aquaticum)

Conference Tour (Wednesday, Hortobágy-Poroszló-Lake Tisza Ecocenter)

Boasting a proud history of 300 years, the farm is one of Europe’s traditional establishments of this kind. It also has tourist programs on offer, the most popular of which is the “puszta” horse-and-carriage ride. It sets out to the heart of the grassland where you can get close to indigenous beasts in their natural habitat. The must-see equestrian shows display hundred-year-old cowboy traditions. Fancy swinging yourself into the saddle too? No problem, enjoy the ride

The Lake Tisza enriches with a worthy feature of his name „Ekotouristic Island of Hungary”. The Ecocenter, that can be considered the centre of Lake Tisza’s departure building, shows the so far hidden natural wonders of the Lake Tisza and the Tisza Valley.

Gala Dinner at Debrecen University

Optional Tokaj Vine tour (Friday afternoon)

“...The gods of pleasure live on these mountains, where they send out their apostles, golden flames locked in bottles into the world to preach to the nations that is not the valley of death..." (Petőfi)

The Tokaj wine region consists of 27 settlements. The territory was the first closed wine region over the world. A royal decree (1737) listed those settlements who have appropriate vineyards for Tokaj wine production. Over the past thousand years, original form, the survival traditions of Viticultura and the unity of the region gave the reason to be declared on world heritage site.
